Health Promotion focuses on empowering people and communities to take control of their health and wellbeing. We offer a range of Health Promotion activities and exercise groups to support older people to remain healthy, active and to stay independent.

    Chair Yoga

    Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while seated or with the aid of a chair. It has become popular as an accessible and advantageous exercise choice, particularly for seniors.

    Tea & Tech- Central Hawke’s Bay

    Come to our free Tea & Tech workshop, held in partnership with the Central Hawkes Bay District Library. Bring your digital device and get help from some friendly people. Come to Tea & Tech if you need help with:

    • Getting connected with friends and family online (Facebook, etc.)

    • Doing your grocery shopping online

    • Using email and visiting websites


    When: Last Thursday of the month from 10.00am-12.00pm.
